Course Overview

This course introduces students to simple key phrases and essential vocabulary to help them navigate everyday situations in Greek. Alongside language skills, the course offers valuable insights into Greek culture and lifestyle, providing a well-rounded introduction to life in Greece and its people.

Course Requirements

Participants must complete the Beginner’s Greek course before applying for the Intermediate level.

What you will Learn

– Personal information: Talk about yourself and others and exchange personal details. Introduce friends and family and talk about family.??
– Ordering food and drinks and interact socially in a restaurant situation.??
– Find the way around a city, village etc. Understand directions given and ask for help.?
– Shopping: interact socially when shopping and understand quantities, weight, prices.?
– Accommodation: book accommodation, check in at reception, make requests, ask for facilities available.?
– Travel: ask about public transport and understand replies, find out about travel times, buy various tickets.?

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to apply for the Greek Life course, which builds on the foundational language and cultural knowledge acquired here.
