Course Overview

This art course is designed for adults with a basic understanding of art. Through a series of engaging lessons and projects, students will explore advanced techniques, develop their personal style, and gain a deeper understanding of the principles of art.

Course Requirements

A basic level of art – Acrylics and painting is advisable.
A set of paper and paints will need to be brought to the session. Tutor can advise further.

What you will Learn

The course will cover various subjects, including still life, atmospheric landscape, techniques in watercolours and acrylics allowing students to expand their artistic repertoire.

Assessment

There will be no formal assessment

Progression

Upon successful completion of the course, Students may wish to undertake the Modern Art or Art Wellness community courses. Alternatively, an Art qualification at the Trafford and Stockport College Group.
