Course Overview

The level 2 foundation pathway in Health offers an exciting and challenging progression pathway onto Health T levels and Level 3 qualifications where you will spend four days a week in college and one day a week on a work placement.

This qualification provides an insight into the health and social care sector and couples academic learning with practical application to prepare you for progression into your chosen career pathway.

Course Requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above (including English and/or maths).

What you will Learn

The T-level Foundation Year aims to give students a broad introduction to the Healthcare and Healthcare Science industries and relevant technical knowledge and practical skills required to be successful. The course provides a high quality route to T-levels, for students who may benefit from additional study time and preparation before progressing on to a Level 3 T-level.

Alongside the technical qualification students will continue with English, math, Science and digital skills to enhance industry required skills.

You will be assessed through a variety of assignments, exams and a placement-based project
